Payment Method:
Prices are to be paid in £ Sterling and are exclusive of delivery charges.  Delivery costs will be added at the checkout.
Online payments are made by credit or debit card through Stripe.
All payments must be cleared prior to despatch of the goods.
All prices are subject to change and are correct at the time of ordering.

Delivery and despatch:
Delivery is available for mainland UK, and delivered by Royal Mail, parcel force or carrier.  The delivery service is not a guaranteed service and can arrive within 2-3 days of despatch.

Loch Torridon Smokehouse will not be held responsible for orders not delivered due to incorrect or incomplete delivery details, letterboxes too small to accept the parcel or if the recipient is unavailable and cannot take delivery.

For orders with instructions for parcels to be left in a particular place, it is at the discretion of the postman/postwoman to carry out these instructions.  If a parcel is not delivered in the given time, it is the responsibility of the customer to contact their local Postal sorting office to check if it is being stored there.

Delivery costs:
Parcels up to 1kg including packaging - £8.00 (sent by Royal Mail 1 to 2 days)
Parcels over 1kg but under 2kg including packaging - £11.00 (sent by Royal Mail 1 to 2 days)
Parcels over 2kg up to 20kg including packaging - £15.00 (sent by 48 hr courier)

Please note the weights given above is the combined weight of the products and the weight of the packaging. For example, this means that an order that has a total products weigh of 800g, may incur a delivery charge of £11 when packaging weight is taken into account.

An accurate cost of delivery is given at the checkout when all products have been added to the basket.

Currently we are only available to deliver to addresses in UK mainland.

Dispatch days:
Orders up to 2 kg will be delivered by Royal Mail standard delivery, or parcel force, from Tuesday to Thursday.  When ordering, please allow 7 working days for dispatch of  your order (except for Christmas Orders* - please see below) .  If we are unable to supply a product to you within this time we will contact you by email.

Orders over 2 kg will be delivered by carrier and dispatched on Mon/Tues/Weds.  When ordering, please allow 7 working days for dispatch of  your order (except for Christmas Orders* - please see below).  If we are unable to supply a product to you within this time we will contact you by email.

*Christmas Orders - Any orders placed on or after the 25th November will be sent between Monday 14th December and Thursday 17th December.

Order confirmation:
When your order is placed online, you will receive a confirmation email.  Cancellations to your order must be made by 12 noon, three days prior to the order being dispatched.  There is no right to withdraw after this period as all our products are prepared to order.

Transport Damage:
If the goods are delivered with obvious damage, you must inform Royal Mail or the carrier on delivery and you must contact us immediately.  We require a photo in jpeg format of damaged goods sent to us as proof to forward to the carriers.

Shortages or Complaints:
Shortage of order or any complaint regarding the goods must be reported to us by email, or the online Contact form, within 24 hours of receipt. 

Arrival of Goods:
All perishable goods must be refrigerated on arrival and the use by dates complied with.

Privacy:
Disclosure of personal data:  Your privacy is very important to us.  

This website is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace collects personal data when you visit this website, including:

• Information about your browser, network and device

• Web pages you visited prior to coming to this website

• Your IP address

Squarespace needs the data to run this website, and to protect and improve its platform and services. Squarespace analyzes the data in a de-personalized form.

When you buy something on this website, we collect personal information from you to fulfill the order. We may collect information like your:

• Billing and shipping address

• Details relating to your purchase (for example, your shirt size)

• Email address

• Name

• Phone number

We share this information with Squarespace, our online store hosting provider, so that they can provide website services to us.

Your data will also be transferred to the shipping company responsible for delivering your goods.  Your payment details are processed using our online payment provider, Stipe, who will process your payment.

Data Protection Law:  We do not disclose your information to any other parties other than stated, however if we have links on our site and you click onto those then you are passing on your information freely.

Liability:

Loch Torridon Smokehouse is only liable for damages that are based on intent or gross negligence.  In the event of any breach of important contractual obligations, Loch Torridon Smokehouse is not responsible for indirect damage and in particular not for loss of profit.  Loch Torridon Smokehouse cannot guarantee the continuous and uninterrupted availability of its website, and are not responsible for technical or electronic errors of the website.

If any provision of these Terms is invalid, the remainder of the contract shall remain valid.

Jurisdiction:
These terms and conditions are governed by the Law of Scotland and in ordering from us you signify acceptance of these terms and conditions under the jurisdiction of the Courts of Scotland.
